The twists and turns of the Seine

Our House is ideally located a few meters from the Seine and you will see it from the window of some of our rooms. You will reach the Seine in a few meters and you will discover these magnificent laces dominated by splendid limestone cliffs. Take the time to stroll along its banks and you will approach this magnificent building that is the St Jacques hospice which was completely restored in the 18th Century. This Hospice rebuilt in 1780-1785 by the architect Gambier thanks to the generosity of the Duke of Penthièvre is composed of wings whose central motif is a remarkable chapel covered with a dome, and whose interior presents a decoration of fluted pilasters and a dome coated on a framework. It should also be noted that this magnificent building could become a luxury hotel and a gastronomy institute supported by the Joël Robuchon International group and if you continue your walk you will see magnificent villas on the Seine, some more authentic than others.
